Loved for her straight forward no nonsense attitude, and ability to get things done. She’s a doer. Born and bred, from the very best Cumbrian farming stock, Gillian Brough was a amazing young farmer, she excelled in numerous Young Farmers competitions, especially home baking and cookery competitions. She has won numerous prizes for her delicious and beautiful home baking at shows in North of England, her specially is her wonderful Victoria sandwich cake. Gill met and married Andrew Potts (a fellow Young Farmer) and they have two delightful grown up children Laura (who has inherited her mothers baking ability) and Phil. They live near Dalston. Gill is a stalwart of the Cumberland Show. She is tireless and constantly works to make it a great day out. She is treasurer of Cumbria RABI Royal Agriculture Benevolent Fund.
