Annie Mawson

Annie Mawson is a trained teacher with a special interest in music therapy. She believes passionately that music can help heal and fundamentally change peoples lives. She founded “The Sunbeams Trust” which aims to establish a music centre in the Lake District offering opportunities for the able bodied and for people with physical disabilities and special needs. Among many of her achievements was the concert she held at the Royal Festival Hall at the National Mencap Festival where seven girls she had coached with learning difficulties amazing the audience by playing celtic harps beautifully.
