Dr Josephine Dunlop was a specialist in women’s health with a particular interest in breast cancer. She joined the Cumbria Women’s Task Force who worked to ensure that equipment bought by the Forget Me Not Appeal would be used, along with specialist staff at Cumberland Infirmary in the assessment and treatment of screen-detected breast cancer. She has also been involved in Penrith and Eden Drugs and Alcohol Reference Group which aims to help young people resist drug misuse in order to achieve their full potential in society.
